Our mission

Some gifts are forgotten.
Some keep growing.

We started Wish A Tree to bring back something we quietly lost — the moment you actually stopped and thought about someone. Then we made that moment grow into a real tree.

plant a legacy
Remember this?

There was a time a card meant something.

You'd stand in a shop and read a dozen of them. Pick the one that felt right. Sit down at the table, find a pen that worked, and actually write — slowly, because it was going to last.

The person who got it didn't throw it away. They kept it in a drawer, tucked into a book, stuck on a fridge for years. A few lines of your handwriting became something they held onto.

Somewhere along the way, that disappeared. Now we send “HBD” and forget by lunch. A birthday is a notification. A wedding is a forwarded sticker. The thought is still there — but the weight of it is gone.

What we're really making

Not a card. A moment that keeps living.

Wish A Tree gives you back that pause — a personalised card you actually mean — and then does something no greeting card ever could. It plants a real tree, in Pakistan, in the name of the person you're thinking of.

The card is the message. The tree is the memory. One is read once. The other grows for decades — cleaning the air, giving shade and fruit, standing long after the occasion, and long after both of you.

A greeting card is thrown away by January. A tree keeps giving — shade, fruit, cleaner air, reward — long after both of you are gone.
Why a tree, of all things

A gift that keeps earning after you're gone.

In our tradition, some deeds don't stop when you do. A tree is one of them. The Prophet ﷺ taught that whenever a Muslim plants a tree and a person, a bird, or an animal eats from it, it is counted as ongoing charity — sadaqah jāriyah — for as long as it lives.

So when you gift a tree, you're not just marking a birthday or a wedding. You're planting something that keeps giving reward to the person you love, year after year, quietly, without them lifting a finger.

Our vision

A greener Pakistan, one gift at a time.

Pakistan is one of the most polluted countries on earth, and among the most vulnerable to a changing climate. The answer isn't only huge government projects — it's millions of ordinary moments of care, turned into trees.

Every birthday, every Eid, every wedding and anniversary and quiet “thinking of you” is a chance to put one more tree in the ground. We want celebrating the people you love and healing the land you live on to be the exact same act.

Give a gift that outlives the occasion.
